My first real difference of opinion with Swamiji came not long after he put me in charge of Crystal Clarity Publishers.<\/strong> He suggested a subtitle for his book, Awaken to Superconsciousness<\/em>, that I thought did nothing to clarify what the book was about. I told him I didn\u2019t like it, and explained why. But he wasn\u2019t open to my reasoning.<\/p>\n

I cared about the subtitle, but most of all I didn\u2019t want to be at loggerheads with him. So I took two questions into meditation: \u201cWhat is the right subtitle?\u201d and, \u201cHow do I get along with Swamiji?\u201d<\/p>\n

I got no answer to the second question, but I did get a perfect subtitle. When I told it to Swamiji, he accepted it immediately. It was as different as night and day from the previous conversation. Which answered my second question.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo!\u201d\u2014even with a good explanation\u2014is not an adequate response. I have to give<\/em> to the process, not just block the energy he has in motion. Blocked energy stops creativity.<\/p>\n

Even if my ideas are not very good, I have found that if my attitude is right, Swamiji is always receptive. At least he\u2019ll give my ideas a fair hearing.<\/p>\n
