They were educated, refined people, but not devotees, so the conversation was about art, language, politics\u2014everything but God. It was interesting, but part of me kept thinking, \u201cHere I am sitting next to Swamiji. How nice it would be if we could speak more freely about the things that are closest to our hearts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At that moment Swamiji turned to me and softly hummed one of my favorite chants: \u201cLord I am Thine.
