{"id":1827,"date":"2025-04-19T16:19:46","date_gmt":"2025-04-19T16:19:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yoganandafortheworld.com\/story\/?p=1827"},"modified":"2025-04-19T16:19:46","modified_gmt":"2025-04-19T16:19:46","slug":"swami-kriyananda-as-we-have-known-him-i-need-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yoganandafortheworld.com\/story\/swami-kriyananda-as-we-have-known-him-i-need-time\/","title":{"rendered":"Swami Kriyananda &mdash; As We Have Known Him: I Need Time"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A man in the community was about to make a serious mistake.<\/strong> His judgment was clouded by desire and he could no longer tell what was spiritually right for him.<\/p>\n<p>When Swamiji heard about it, he called the man on the phone. \u201cPlease don\u2019t do anything until we have a chance to talk,\u201d Swamiji said.<\/p>\n<p>Reluctantly, the man agreed\u2014on one condition. \u201cThe situation is complicated,\u201d he said to Swamiji, \u201cand I\u2019ll need at least half an hour to explain it to you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can have as much time as you need,\u201d Swamiji replied.<\/p>\n<p>Later, however, Swamiji said to me, \u201cThe truth can be spoken in a minute.
